We had a very nice Thanksgiving at the Fullmers. Overall, Nathan did very well and was pretty interested in their new dog. The dog was more shy than Nathan. It was good to see all my cousins on my Dad's side of the family. They are fun group. At times like this I'm sad we don't get together more often.
My mom came back from her month long book tour back east. It is really nice to have her around. The laundry gets done, the pantry gets refilled with groceries, and the house gets swept. Thanks mom.

The premise is pretty neat. Every episode the group of friends, each a different animal, acts out an imaginary adventure in their joint backyard. Each episode has several song and dance numbers and every show has a different genre. I am amazed at how creative, clever, and educational this program is. I end up with the songs stuck in my head for days. I recommend it, especially if you have young children.
My work schedule has been switched around so that now instead of working late Mondays and Thursdays with Tuesdays off, I work late on Mondays with Thursday afternoons off. It has been working out fine. The last two weeks I used my afternoon off to do some cycling at the gym and do chores. I haven't been on a bike since before Nathan was born (okay it was a stationary spin bike, but close enough). It was fun and made me feel good to get some different exercises into my week.

Saturday Gary, Nathan and I went to temple for the baby version of services which included songs, finger puppets, shakers, and a little bit of hebrew. Sunday we helped Phaedra celebrate her birthday with brunch. Nathan did very well with all the strangers and showed off how well he can inch around on his bum.
Unfortunately I've got some nasty stomach cramps again. It seems every few months my intestines seize up for no apparent reason. Oy.

Yesterday Nathan had the hiccups after breakfast. When he had a hiccup I would say "hiccup" to him and he would just crack up, laugh and laugh. I'd never seen him in such a silly mood. It made my day. Nothing like hearing a baby laugh himself silly to start the day off right.
I had a very nice weekend. Mostly we relaxed at home. I was glad to have Gary watch Nathan while I got to go out for lunch with some girlfriends from High School. The best part was when Nathan slept 12 hours straight two days in a row. It seems like he may finally be sleeping through the night. Also, we went to a professional photographer on Saturday, but I'm doubtful we'll get any good photos. I just wasn't very impressed with the photographer's technique and working with a baby.
