Wolf-Hirschhorn

Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome (WHS) is characterized by typical facial features, small growth and developmental delay/mental retardation of variable degree. The condition is due to a chromosome microdeletion at 4p16. The majority occur by chance, but about 15% of the time, a parent is carrier of chrosome change that can lead to WHS.
