I wasn't too impressed with Lost by Michael Robotam. It is a thriller about an old cop who gets amnesia after getting shot. He has to retrace his steps to figure out why he was shot and then he gets to solve a kidnapping mystery. The main character was not sympathetic or interesting and the flow of the story was awkward. I rate it a 2 out of 10.

Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks isn't as compelling as his first book "The man who thought his wife was a hatrack." The author is a neurologist who spins stories of brain dysfunction to try and illistrate the mysteries of the workings of the mind. This book focuses on how the brain processess and creates music. It was interesting to a point, but not enough to keep me interested for long. I rate it a 3 out of 10.
