The Sparrow
The Sparrow by Maria Doria Russell is a science fiction tale of a group of Jesuits that make first contact with Alpha Centauri. It is a nice blend of science fiction, mystery and spirituality. I thought the alien civilization she dreamed up was very interesting and believable. The only thing missing was a hot romance. Over all I rate it a 9 out of 10.
