Odd Thomas

I've finished the three book series on Odd Thomas, a 20 year old short order cook who "sees dead people." He also has other sixth sense abilities and uses them to track down criminals and stop acts of violence. The book is written in a light, even humorous tone, but still has good description and a fast moving plot. The supernatural elements make the thriller that much more interesting. I give it a 7 out of 10.
