Kavalier and Clay
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is about a pair of cousins in New York during the golden age of comics. One cousin is an artist and amature magician who escapes from Europe just as the Nazis close in. The other cousin is a struggling jewish writer in New York who dreams of creating something better than Superman. It is fun, well written, action packed story with adventure, magic, war, romance, and history about the era of WWII and comic books. I really enjoyed it - quite a treat. I give it a 9 out of 10.
