PlainSong
Plainsong by Kent Haruf was recommended to me by a coworker. It is a modern novel loosely connecting two young brothers whose mother recently left their father, a local school teacher, and a pregnant teenager in a small town in Colorado. I found the pace slow, the characters flat, and the story mundane. 5 out of 10.
